bob capture-related¶

List existing tasks that each new task in a capture draft may duplicate or relate to.

The command is read-only and never writes the vault. Draft mode accepts capture text after --, checks task-creating items, and emits the additive schema_version 1 contract without scores. The --query evaluation harness ranks TEXT as one task title and includes scores in JSON. Use --exclude NOTE:LINE to leave one existing task out of calibration.

Usage: bob capture-related [OPTIONS] [DRAFT]...

Arguments:
  [DRAFT]...
          Capture draft to check after --; multiple args are joined with spaces

Options:
  -b, --bob-dir <DIR>
          Bob vault root; defaults to BOB_DIR or ~/bob

  -d, --days <N>
          Also match tasks closed in the last N days

          [default: 30]

  -e, --exclude <NOTE:LINE>
          Exclude one vault-relative note:line before query scoring (calibration only)

  -f, --format <FORMAT>
          Output format: human or json

          [default: human]
          [possible values: human, json]

  -h, --help
          Show help

  -l, --limit <N>
          Matches per item

          [default: 5]

  -q, --query <TEXT>
          Rank TEXT as one new task title (evaluation harness)
