bob pomodoro notify¶
Notify when the current Pomodoro is complete
bob pomodoro notify --help
usage: bob pomodoro notify [-v] PRE_CHECK_SLEEP POST_NOTIFY_SLEEP

PRE_CHECK_SLEEP

POST_NOTIFY_SLEEP
the number of seconds to wait after a notification.
Optional Arguments
------------------
-h | --help
View this help message.
-v | --verbose
Enable verbose output. This option can be specified multiple times (e.g. -v, -vv, ...).
bob pomodoro status¶
Show the current Pomodoro status (default)
bob pomodoro status --help
usage: bob pomodoro [status] [-d|--debug] [-s|--show-stale]
[-v|--verbose] [-w|--worked]
bob pomodoro status -h
Show the current Pomodoro status from today's Bob daily note.
The command prints the latest open Pomodoro ledger entry with the remaining
time or recent overdue status. It exits successfully with no output when the
daily note is missing, has no open Pomodoro, or the Pomodoro is more than nine
minutes overdue. Pass --show-stale when a consumer needs to distinguish an old
open Pomodoro from no open Pomodoro.
Pass --worked when a consumer wants today's worked time instead of empty output:
whenever no status line would print, the command prints `[WORKED <minutes>m]`,
the minutes in today's closed Pomodoros (each row's recorded `[t:: ]` duration,
else its time range). A missing daily note reports `[WORKED 0m]`. --worked is
native-only; the `BOB_CLI_USE_SCRIPT` script fallback rejects it.
environment:
BOB_DAY_FILE exact daily note path to read
BOB_DIR Bob vault root used to find the default daily note
BOB_NOW override the current timestamp for status calculations
options:
-d, --debug enable debug tracing
-h, --help show this help message and exit
-s, --show-stale show open Pomodoros after the stale cutoff
-v, --verbose enable verbose debug output
-w, --worked print today's worked minutes when no Pomodoro status prints
bob pomodoro tmux¶
Print the Pomodoro status and plan meter for tmux
bob pomodoro tmux --help
usage: bob pomodoro tmux
bob pomodoro tmux -h
Print the current Pomodoro status in tmux status-line format.
When an active or recently overdue Pomodoro exists, the output is the regular
Pomodoro status followed by ` | `. Missing or stale Pomodoros produce no
status. When today's daily note has a Pomodoros section, the plan-budget
meter `plan T/Tc · L/Lc` is appended after the status (or alone when there
is no status), wrapped in `#[reverse]...#[noreverse]` when over the cap.
With `BOB_CLI_USE_SCRIPT=1` the script fallback stays budget-less.
Each known, non-exempt name component gets a tmux `■` swatch; `NO_COLOR`
leaves the status text unchanged.
environment:
BOB_CONFIG_FILE exact Bob config file; defaults to ~/.config/bob/config.yml
BOB_DAY_FILE exact daily note path to read
BOB_DIR Bob vault root used to find the default daily note
BOB_NOW override the current timestamp for status calculations
NO_COLOR disable theme swatches
options:
-h, --help show this help message and exit
