bob completion¶
Install and inspect shell completion for bob
bob completion --help
Install and inspect shell completion for bob.
Every <TAB> is answered live by the `bob` on your PATH, so completion always matches the installed binary: commands, options, and vault values such as capture routes, tasks, and open Pomodoros. The file installed into your shell is a small, stable adapter that rarely changes. `bob completion install` keeps it current and never edits your rc files.
Usage: bob completion [OPTIONS]
bob completion <COMMAND>
Commands:
bash Print the bash completion adapter
install Install or refresh the completion adapter for your shells
status Show installed adapters and the bob they call (default)
uninstall Remove completion adapters that bob installed
zsh Print the zsh completion adapter
help Print this message or the help of the given subcommand(s)
Options:
-j, --json
Print machine-readable JSON
-v, --verify
Probe a real shell now instead of trusting the install record
-h, --help
Print help (see a summary with '-h')
Examples:
bob completion Same as `bob completion status`
bob completion install Install for $SHELL; refresh every bob-owned adapter
bob completion install zsh -d Show the zsh plan without writing anything
bob completion status -v Also check registration in a real shell
bob completion zsh -o ~/.zfunc/_bob
Write the zsh adapter yourself
