bob gcal¶

Google Calendar → daily-note Event Tasks: one read-only login through gog, then list accepted events and preview their roots. Sync writes them above today's Pomodoros, idempotently.

Usage: bob gcal [OPTIONS] [COMMAND]

Commands:
  calendars  List Google calendars with id, access role, colour, and mapped root
  doctor     Check the Calendar setup: gog, client, account, token, calendars, default root, today, journal, and writer
  list       List a local day of events and show how Bob would classify them
  login      One-time read-only Google Calendar consent through gog
  logout     Remove Bob's Calendar grant only; prints the Google revoke URL
  sync       Write one day's Events rows and MEET links
  help       Print this message or the help of the given subcommand(s)

Options:
  -a, --all
          Also show omitted events with the reason

  -b, --bob-dir <DIR>
          Bob vault root; defaults to BOB_DIR or ~/bob

  -D, --day <DAY>
          Local day: today, tomorrow, yesterday, or YYYY-MM-DD

          [default: today]

  -f, --format <FORMAT>
          Output format: table or json

          [default: table]
          [possible values: table, json]

  -h, --help
          Show help

Running `bob gcal` with no command runs `bob gcal list`.

Examples:
  bob gcal                    Show today's events and what sync would do
  bob gcal -D tomorrow        List tomorrow in Bob's timezone
  bob gcal -a -f json         Include omitted events as JSON
  bob gcal login              One-time read-only Calendar consent
  bob gcal login -c PATH      Store a Desktop-app client JSON first
  bob gcal login -m           Browserless sign-in (paste the redirect URL)
  bob gcal calendars          List calendars with ids for config
  bob gcal doctor             Diagnose gog, the client, and the vault
  bob gcal sync               Write today's Events and MEET links
  bob gcal sync -d            Preview the exact Markdown a sync writes
  bob gcal logout -y          Remove Bob's Calendar grant only

Environment:
  BOB_DIR            Bob vault root; defaults to ~/bob
  BOB_CONFIG_FILE    gcal config; defaults to ~/.config/bob/config.yml
  BOB_GCAL_GOG       gog executable replacing `gog` on PATH
